75-year-old Woman Allegedly Kills 81-year-old Man in His Mays Landing Home
There are allegations of murder being brought against a woman from Mays Landing who is 75 years old and is accused of stabbing and beating an 81-year-old man to death earlier this year.
According to a statement released by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office on Thursday, May 23, 2024, Eileen Bright was indicted on Wednesday in connection with the murder of Gary Johnson, who was 81 years old, in his home in Mays Landing, New Jersey, in March.
The body of Johnson was discovered by a nurse in his residence on Lewis Drive at approximately 5:40 p.m. on March 31, according to the authorities who were present at the time.

Johnson had reportedly sustained many wounds to his head and torso, as stated by officials from the police department. The South Regional Medical Examiner’s Office determined that Johnson died as a result of blunt force trauma and several stab wounds. These were the causes of death that were determined.
