Texas Governor Greg Abbott Condemns Biden’s Alleged Exploitation of Immigrants for Political Agenda, Is It True
DEBARYLIFE – President Joe Biden has come under fire from Governor Greg Abbott (R-TX) for utilizing immigrants as “political pawns” as soon as they enter the country.
Speaking about his recent trip to New York City, which mayor Eric Adams claims will witness a surge in immigration of 157,000 between 2022 and 2023, Abbott made an appearance on Fox News Sunday.
Not all of the immigrants who have arrived have been sent by the Texas governor, who made it plain that even though he has brought people from his state to the sanctuary city, his state has sent very few.
“The person who’s using illegal immigrants as political pawns is Joe Biden,” stated Abbott. To win over and placate the extreme leftists within the Democratic Party, Joe Biden instituted the open border policy that has allowed illegal immigrants to enter our nation. “Those who want to destroy the country that they are in charge of, like [Rep. Alexandria] Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), in an attempt to achieve their support.”

Since August 2022, more than 40,600 immigrants from Texas have been transferred to New York City. The majority of illegal immigration, meanwhile, comes from Texas.
After Operation Lone Star began in March 2021, local law enforcement has detained about 506,500 undocumented immigrants. According to Abbott, his policies are having the desired effect of reducing the number of immigrants entering Texas.
In terms of new employment additions, Texas leads the nation. Therefore, the growth of our economy and jobs is faster. While Texas is seeing a decline in illegal immigration, this is happening simultaneously.
Due in large part to our opposition, illegal immigration has decreased in Texas by 72%, according to Abbott. In the states bordering it, it has increased. As a result, Texas is increasing its economy faster than the rest of the nation while also reducing illegal immigration.

The Department of Justice under Biden is suing Abbott over these actions. Concerning his immigration laws, the governor expressed confidence that they would hold up in court.
The 2,000-mile southern frontier saw the capture of 137,000 migrants last month. Furthermore, it has been alleged that since Biden became office, over 10 million immigrants have unlawfully entered the nation. It represents the highest number of administrations recorded in that time frame.
