Southern Ohio Tragedy: One Woman Killed, Five in Hospital After Crash
DEBARYLIFE – Following a collision in southern Ohio early on Sunday morning, an 18-year-old woman lost her life and five other persons were sent to the hospital.
Our news colleagues at WCPO-9 TV reported that Cincinnati police rushed to Westwood Northern Blvd. at around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday in response to reports of a crash.
Police said that a 28-year-old guy ran off the road and struck a tree while driving east on Westwood Northern Blvd.
A 19-year-old, an 18-year-old, a 16-year-old, and two 29-year-old women made up the other five occupants of the car after the driver.
After suffering severe injuries, the 18-year-old woman passed away immediately.
An Eastern Ohio man was discovered dead in the water.

It was brought to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with the driver and four other passengers.
According to authorities, two passengers were critically injured, and the driver and two others had non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash is being studied as a possible cause, as are excessive speed and impairment. Furthermore, nobody in the car was buckled up.
Police shut down a portion of Westwood Northern Boulevard as they conducted an investigation, but it has since reopened, according to WCPO-9 TV.
