DNA Breakthrough: 62-year-old Charged in 1992 COLD CASE RAPE, Missouri Authorities Confirm
Missouri police have said that a DNA study has identified a suspect in a rape case that has been ongoing for over 32 years in St. Louis County.
The St. Louis County Police Department issued a press release on June 4 stating that Stacy Pollock, 62, of Oklahoma, was charged with forcible rape with a weapon in connection with a cold case that occurred in 1992.
According to a statement of probable cause, on September 17, 1992, he blindfolded a woman with a bandanna and tied her wrists and ankles together with rope. He left her blindfolded. According to the authorities, he used a knife to threaten to kill her as well.

In accordance with the complaint, Pollock allegedly used the knife to rob her of her clothing. According to the St. Louis County police, he was taken into custody on June 5 in Oklahoma and was then being detained on a bond of $500,000.
