“Big Blast!” Three Young Girls Denied Bail In Case Of 64-Year-Old DC Man’s Death
WASHINGTON — A trial for the charges of allegedly beating a 64-year-old man to death back in 2023 will keep two 13-year-old girls and one 12-year-old girl in police custody.
A juvenile court judge rejected the girls’ requests to be released from custody on Wednesday.
The kids had been accused of brutally abusing Reggie Brown on the 6200 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest, before his death in October 2023.

Brown’s cause of death was ruled by a medical examiner to be blunt force trauma.
In March, the three teenage females were accused of second-degree murder in relation to his passing.
Although the judge set the start date for their trials for June 24, it is likely that the proceedings won’t be concluded until August.
