Cheatham County Deputies Apprehend Kentucky Fugitive Wanted for 6 Years, What Is The Real Story Behind!
CHEATHAM COUNTY, Tenn. – A Kentucky fugitive from justice was found thanks to a malfunctioning taillight and some excellent police work in Middle Tennessee.
In place of three years of probation, Patricia Moore was given a one-year jail sentence in 2016 for cocaine charges, according to court staff in Simpson County, Kentucky.
Officials stated that Moore was required to attend therapy sessions and meet with her probation officers regularly as part of her probation. A bench warrant was issued for Moore, though, since it was stated that she had stopped doing this.
The currently 57-year-old has not been seen in public for more than six years.
Deputy Jason Lee Knotts of Cheatham County then pulled over a car on Bearwallow Road on Friday, April 19, after noticing a broken taillight.
The deputy quickly looked through the car’s occupants and saw something was off: Moore, who provided Nashville as her home address, had an outstanding warrant for her arrest as a fugitive from justice.

News 2 was able to collect the body camera footage of the stop and the conversation that occurred between Moore and the responding authorities.
“You are aware that you have a warrant out of Kentucky?” inquired the deputy.
Should I? Moore answered back. “Papers were sent to me.” It’s my court date.
“Probation violation on drug charges” is what dispatch sounds like in the video.
Moore is allegedly being held in Cheatham County prison for his extradition to Kentucky.
Officials stated that Moore might have to spend the year in jail that the judge set aside in 2016 after being brought back to the Commonwealth.
