One Theft, Massive Loss! Jail Sentence for Riverview Woman Convicted of Defrauding Seniors of $400,000

RIVERVIEW, FLA – The Middle District of Florida reports that a lady from Riverview was sentenced to eighteen months in prison for stealing over $400,000 from a senior citizen residential community.

Court records state that 49-year-old Victoria Zerillo was the general manager of a nonprofit organization that offered older residents plumbing, appliance, and HVAC repair services.

Under the new Biden rule, millions of salaried employees will be qualified for overtime compensation.

Officials said Zerillo and others planned to create phony and fraudulent bank statements and delete records to commit wire fraud and embezzle $410,963.78 from the organization between December 2015 and November 2022.

Zerillo used the cash for personal expenses such as lavish holidays.

During the sentencing hearing, a victim stated that Zerillo’s embezzlement caused them great financial hardship.
