Double Shooting Reported Near Joint Base Anacostia Bolling in Southwest DC
WASHINGTON, USA – Over the holiday weekend, an adult male and a juvenile female were shot. The incident is under investigation by D.C. police.
After being shot, according to investigators, the two drove to Joint Base Anacostia Bolling in Southwest Washington, D.C.
Here, at the crossroads of South Capitol and MacDill Boulevard, one of the main entrances to Joint Base Anacostia Bolling in Southwest Washington, D.C., officers discovered the guy and girl.
When FOX 5 got there on Sunday at around five o’clock in the evening, at least two D.C. police cruisers were there. The two victims were transported breathing and aware, according to the police.

According to the police’s most recent update, they were also trying to locate the shooting site.
On Sunday, authorities had to close at least one exit on the southbound side of I-295, which resulted in traffic backups.
As of right now, FOX 5 has not heard back from the police regarding our request to inquire about any potential connection between this investigation and the closure of that exit.
