Miami – After being shot on Wednesday night inside a shop in northwest Miami-Dade, a man has passed away.

Miami-Dade police say that after learning of a shooting around 7:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to a personal watercraft repair shop located at 3570 NW 50th Street.

When the police arrived, they discovered a shot man inside the establishment. Afterward, the man was recognized as Amado De La Cruz, Jr., a German employee of the shop, 48 years of age.

After being brought to Jackson Memorial Hospital, he passed away.
