During a traffic check in Brooklyn Park on Friday morning, an officer discovered narcotics and a gun on three people: a 16-year-old, a 20-year-old, and two 19-year-olds.

According to police, an officer stopped a black Mazda 3 near Ritchie Highway and Cedar Hill Boulevard in Brooklyn Park on June 7 around 1:15 a.m.

It was found that the car lacked insurance.

Inside the car was discovered 332 grams of suspected cannabis and a. 45-caliber revolver.

After being taken into custody, the four car owners faced charges.
