Georgia Man Arrested for Armed Robbery at Cobb County Wendy’s, Linked to Another Robbery in Different State

A man who was involved in many armed robberies has been taken into custody by the Acworth Police Department.

An armed robbery occurred at the Wendy’s restaurant that is situated on Baker Road on the 19th of May, and the Acworth police department was dispatched to the scene. A man in a mask entered the Wendy’s restaurant, pulled out a firearm, and demanded money from the employees, according to the early reports.

Paul Richardson, 23, has been recognized as the suspect by the police. Before the arrival of the authorities, the suspect had fled the area in a red vehicle.

The Acworth police department was able to discover, with the assistance of FLOCK cameras, that the truck that was used in the heist had been reported stolen to the Atlanta Police Department and turned up in Indiana.

After further investigation, it was discovered that Richardson had reportedly executed yet another armed robbery while he was in Indiana. The Jeffersonville Police Department in Indiana has Richardson in custody, and he is currently awaiting extradition to the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office.
