Fugitive From Puerto Rico’s ‘Most Wanted’ List Caught Hiding In NYC – SOURCES SAY

DEBARYLIFE – Law enforcement sources report that two of Puerto Rico’s most wanted fugitives were captured in the Bronx many months after going missing following a gunfight with the police.

The elusive pair, Jay Livan Diaz-Del Valle, 25, and Hector Manuel Cruz-Ayala, 27, were captured by the US Marshals fugitive task group on Monday and Tuesday, according to sources.

Their accusations stem from an event that happened on December 12, 2023, involving the Puerto Rico Police Department, wherein, according to accounts, officers made an attempt to detain the two on suspicion of possessing weapons.

Three officers were injured when the two males opened fire on them, according to reports, and then they ran away.

The guys are wanted by the police for many homicides.

Sources say that on May 10, the Puerto Rican and Marshals officials discovered that Del Valle and Ayala might have been hiding in New York City.

They came upon Del-Valle on East Tremont and Marmion Avenues in the Bronx three days later.

According to accounts, they captured Ayala the following day on the Bronx’s 2000 block of Vyse Avenue.

Authorities say they will very probably be charged with attempted police officer murder, gun possession, and other offenses.
