Georgia Attorney Accuses Katt Williams of Menacing 5 Women Leading Up to Store Clerk Assault Arrest

A Georgia attorney has accused comedian Katt Williams of abusing five women in Atlanta over the weekend.

Attorney Loletha Hale claims that Williams and members of his entourage “pointed a gun, physically attacked, illegally detained, and stole personal items” from five women in Atlanta on Sunday, according to a statement.

Police said they went to a report of a fight “with a weapon” just before 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, apprehended 42-year-old Williams, and spoke with one of the alleged victims, Salena Boston.

There were no arrests in the incident, which happened just one day after the troubled comedian, whose actual name is Micah Williams, was detained in Gainesville for reportedly striking a store clerk. “[Boston] stated that she and her friends approached [Williams] and asked for a photo, to which he agreed,” according to a police report.

Boston told police that when she and her friends began taping the incident, Williams “changed his attitude” and became upset.

Boston also informed officials that Williams started arguing with the women and ordered his entourage to assault them. “Salena Boston then stated that Mr. Williams punched her, and the group began fighting,” according to the police report. “She stated that he pulled a gun out and pointed it at them as well.”

According to the police report, Williams claimed that the women approached him and began “harassing, filming and taking pictures of him and wouldn’t get away from him.”

He claimed the women became enraged and one of them snatched the chain from his neck. Williams claimed he only started fighting with the women because he believed his goods had been stolen.

“His security team then saw what was going on and began to approach the females,” the police report adds. “At one point during the scuffle, one of the females stated she was going to her car to get something to ‘pop somebody.'”

Williams allegedly told police that someone in his entourage produced a handgun and set it down on a concrete pillar because he believed the women would acquire a pistol and shoot him.

The event resulted in no arrests or injuries, according to authorities. Hale is now demanding for Williams’ “immediate arrest” as well as a full inquiry into the event, according to the statement.

“This individual is clearly out of control and needs to be stopped before someone is killed,” she stated. “We are also calling for the identification, investigation and discipline of the officers who failed to arrest and properly investigate this incident.”

Williams is now awaiting trial for an alleged robbery from 2014.
