Henderson Police Arrest 18-Year-Old Brothers for Firework Incident at LDS Church
Las Vegas, Nevada – The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints meeting place in Henderson is the scene of a lengthy list of charges against two brothers, ages eighteen after it was reported by the police that they set off a “firework type device.”
18-year-olds Caden and Conner Renard were taken into custody on April 11th, according to the Henderson Police Department.
An LDS church on the 800 block of Arrowhead Trail, close to Boulder Highway and East Horizon Drive, was the scene of the incident on March 27 at around 8 p.m.
It doesn’t seem like a religious hate crime or one driven by race or ethnicity, according to Henderson police.
An inside “firework type device” did ignite, according to the findings of Henderson Police and Fire crews upon their arrival. As stated by The Henderson Police Department, the four victims only had minor wounds.

Youth activities were taking place at the meeting house when the event occurred, according to LDS church stake president Steve Morris, who spoke with 8 News Now.
A firecracker was thrown on the floor where the action was happening by the two brothers as soon as they entered the church. It also punctured a religiously sensitive painting and ruined the gymnasium’s carpet at the front door of the meeting house.
Morris reports that the meeting house has sustained damage from fireworks three times in the last Twenty-three days.
