In Defense of Biden: White House Calls for Seriousness Regarding Uncle’s Cannibalism Remark

DEBARYLIFE – President Biden seemed to imply that his uncle was eaten by cannibals after his plane was shot down during World War II while visiting a war memorial close to his Pennsylvania hometown.

The last thing Jean-Pierre said was a reference to the former president Trump, whom Vice President Biden said called soldiers “suckers and losers.”

It was claimed that in November 2018, while on a trip to France, Trump made the remarks just before he was scheduled to visit the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery.

The claims, which appeared in The Atlantic with anonymous sources, detailed some derogatory remarks that Trump is accused of making toward fallen and captured American service members in 2018. Among these remarks was the claim that Trump referred to the World War I dead at an American military cemetery in France as “losers” and “suckers.”

Sarah Sanders, the former press secretary for the White House, tweeted that she was involved in the conversation about going to the cemetery. “This is untrue. I was in the room when our President made the heartbreaking call to the families of those who lost sons in combat. This is a false attack that disgusts me.

While Jean-Pierre acknowledged that Second Lieutenant Ambrose Jay Finnegan was a war hero, Peter Doocy of Fox News persisted in questioning him regarding President Biden’s remarks about his uncle. The Pentagon claimed that the plane was forced to ditch in the ocean for unidentified reasons.

“At low altitude, both engines gave out. Why is President Biden claiming he was shot down? That is not supported by any evidence. And for what reason does he claim that cannibals devoured his uncle? That’s not a good course of action,” Doocy asked.

“He went down the drain. That’s not the case. Look, I’m not, and this is not something we should laugh about,” Jean-Pierre remarked.

Doocy restated that it wasn’t a joke, but he added, that’s exactly what Biden stated.

“Your final sentence seems like it’s meant to make you laugh or make a humorous statement. And he considers this a serious matter. His uncle lost his life while defending this nation while serving. It should be significant. Your president gives our American troops and veterans hope every single day. By whom do they think? Who among them genuinely believes they are all heroes? Additionally, they are ” Jean-Pierre retaliated by sparring.

Doocy questioned him again about his choice of words, “cannibalism,” just as Jean-Pierre was finishing her sentence.

“I believe you’re not getting the point. The idea is that you have a president who encourages American veterans and those who serve in the armed forces of the United States. And that’s the important thing. “He recognizes the importance and necessity of being the commander in chief,” Jean-Pierre concluded.
