Indiana Shootout! 5 Officers Fired Guns, Resulting In Fatal Outcome, Police Confirm
CHICAGO – Five policemen allegedly fired their weapons during a deadly police firefight in Valparaiso, Indiana, according to investigators. A 20-year-old guy was shot by rescuers during the event, according to police, and he died as a result.
Thursday was the day of the incident. There are two officers from the Porter County Sheriff’s Office and three officers from the Valparaiso Police Department.
After someone called 911 reporting seeing a suspicious individual with a pistol, police were dispatched to the area surrounding Fairgrounds Park.

Police reported that when Caden Mura, 20, was running down the street, he opened fire on them first, and they responded by firing back.
According to investigators, gunfire struck adjacent residences and businesses.
Now that the state police are still conducting their investigation, all five of the policemen who were involved in the shooting are on administrative leave.
