Maryland’s Youngest CEOs: Smith Siblings Redefine Entrepreneurship and Break Barriers
Three African American siblings from Maryland are on the verge of rewriting the record books as probably the youngest CEOs in the history of the state. This is a remarkable accomplishment that might potentially change the course of history.
We would like to introduce you to the Smith sisters, Tatiyana, Danyelle, and Jyniah, who are five years old, eight years old, and ten years old respectively. They are redefining the landscape of young business with their imaginative approach and sense of entrepreneurial spirit.
These extraordinary young people have embraced the fundamental concepts of turning their goals into actual realities that promise to generate long-term success. They are participants in the Youth Investment Program (YIPs1) that is offered by G1 Investment, LLC.
They will reach a crucial milestone on May 6, 2024, at ten o’clock in the morning, during a ribbon-cutting ceremony that will be hosted by the Charles County Chamber of Commerce and the Charles County Economic Development Department. This extraordinary journey, which was initially chronicled by Black Business, will reach this milestone.
The Charles County Commissioner President, Reuben B. Collins II Esq., together with the Commissioner Vice President, Ralph Patterson, and the Commissioners Thomasina Coates and Gilbert Bowling, will be present at the event to show their support. Jyniah Smith, who is just ten years old and served as the founder and CEO of Bakie Books, LLC, a firm that manufactures desserts and beverages, is at the forefront of this movement.
Jyniah’s delectable creation, the “Bakie,” promises to tantalize taste buds with its irresistible layers of fudgy chocolate brownies, vanilla cake, chocolate chip cookies, and creamy vanilla glaze. Jyniah recently secured its first retail partnership with Selby’s Grab and Go restaurant, which is led by Chef Kendall Selby, who has received training from international chefs.
In the meantime, Tatiyana Smith, who is only five years old, is making news with her beverage manufacturing business, Ezee Peezy, LLC, which is positioning itself to compete with industry titans. While Tatiyana’s entrepreneurial prowess is already making waves in the highly competitive beverage sector, she is offering a refreshing selection of “Ezee” varieties such as Fruit Punch, Grape, Lemon Blast, and Blackberry.
D-LaShay Productions is a rapidly expanding media company that specializes in video production, graphic design, and editing. Behind the scenes, Danyelle LaShay Smith, who is just eight years old, is the creative force that drives the company. Danyelle’s vision is poised to leave an indelible mark on the landscape of the media industry. She has goals of establishing a major broadcast media studio that is dedicated to creating material that is uplifting and empowering for young people.
While working together, these three exceptional siblings are not only breaking down barriers, but they are also redefining attitudes about the innovative potential of young people and the transforming effect of investments that are relevant to young minds.
