Miami Gas Station Shooting Leaves Two Dead, One Fighting for Life in Hospital, What Is The Real Story!

Miami — A dispute turned into a shooting early on Saturday morning inside a Miami gas station, leaving two men dead and one critically injured.

Three males were shot at a Chevron petrol station near 1700 NW 54th St., according to a report that was received by City of Miami Police officers around 12:30 in the morning.

When the police arrived, they discovered two of them dead and recognized them as employees, Shamun Shaukat, 42, and Shahbaz Hussain, 51.

Elijah Shorter, the third casualty, was 57 years old and in critical condition when he was taken by Miami Fire Rescue to JMH Trauma Center.

“We’re hurting right now,” worker Lorenzo told CBS News Miami regarding a colleague. “Our boss and a coworker both passed away. He also had a close family and a strong bond with his people.”

“All I could tell you is that we were very close and we took a great loss in this one,” he stated.

Miami Police claim that following an argument verbally within the petrol station, the suspect pulled out a revolver, shot Hussain and Shaukat, and then shot Shorter. Before the police came, the suspect then left the site. What precipitated the disagreement is currently unknown.

Investigations are still ongoing into the shooting.
