Pittsfield Man Receives Prison Sentence For Heroin, Firearm Seizure
Pittsfield, Massachusetts – A Pittsfield man was given a prison sentence after his home was searched for narcotics and a gun by the police.
A Granville man was convicted of child sex assault and sentenced to prison.
The 61-year-old James N. Adams’ Pittsfield house at 45 Cherry Street was the subject of a search warrant that was carried out on October 27, 2022, according to the Berkshire County District Attorney’s Office.
Three bundles of heroin, three bags of crack cocaine, three bags of heroin packets, $349, a Ruger handgun, and ninety-six rounds of.22 ammo were discovered by the police.
Adams entered a guilty plea to six offenses in Berkshire Superior Court, and the following sentences were imposed upon him:
Trafficking in the drug cocaine:
2-4 years in a state prison
