Police Says, After a weekend Bridgeton shooting, a vehicle meet left a 15-year-old dead and two teenagers prosecuted
ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO. – Following a shooting during a gathering of “100 vehicles” over the weekend, one person is dead and at least one other has been detained and charged.
About 100 vehicles were involved in an event on Corporate Woods Drive near Earth City Expressway on May 18, at approximately 9:35 p.m., according to police reports. Several of the cars were attempting to flee as the cops came, and shots were fired towards them.
The incident caused injuries that ultimately claimed the life of 15-year-old East St. Louis, Illinois resident Gerardo Perez. According to police, the incident left at least four more people hurt.

In connection with Perez’s demise, two persons have been taken into custody.

Garron Stevenson, 19, of St. Louis’ 3800 block of Sullivan, is facing nine charges and is required to post a $1 million bond. He was charged with three charges of first-degree assault, four counts of armed criminal action, one case of second-degree murder, and one count of unauthorized use of a weapon.
Second-degree murder charges were brought against a 17-year-old who was also detained.
