Strong Support for Biden: 10-Point Advantage in Pennsylvania Survey
Debarylife – According to a poll of Pennsylvania residents who are registered to vote, which was released on Thursday, President Biden leads former President Trump by ten percentage points in a future general election.
Trump received the support of 38% of voters in the Franklin & Marshall College poll, while Biden received 48%. 1 percent of respondents stated they were unsure of who to vote for, while 13% of respondents stated they would have wanted to vote for “someone else.”
Since the last Franklin & Marshall College survey, Biden’s lead has increased significantly. Biden had a 1-point advantage over Trump in the February 2024 survey (with 43 percent to 42 percent), which was within the margin of error. Two percent did not know, while another twelve percent stated they backed someone else.
Yet the poll suggested that some of Biden’s momentum in Pennsylvania was being slowed by independent and third-party candidates.
Asking Pennsylvania voters to select between Biden, Trump, Jill Stein of the Green Party, and independent Robert F. Kennedy Jr., they were more receptive to other choices.
According to a study, 42% of Pennsylvania voters supported Biden under those circumstances. 36 percent went to Trump, 9 percent went to Kennedy, and 3 percent went to Stein. An additional 4% expressed their preference for someone else, while 4% expressed uncertainty.

As of February 2024, third-party candidates have a little lower popularity. Of Pennsylvania voters, 42% supported Biden. Kennedy received 8%, Trump had 37%, Stein had 2%, and so on. Admittedly, 5% stated they were unsure, and 7% named someone else.
For Biden in the November election, Pennsylvania might be a crucial state. To the amazement of many observers, the Keystone State went red for Trump in 2016 by less than 50,000 votes, having not supported a Republican presidential candidate since 1988. In 2020, Biden managed to reverse it, albeit just by 1%.
That being said, Democrats are concerned that third-party candidates may get more traction from Biden than from Trump due to their recent surge in popularity.
Biden leads Trump in Pennsylvania by 1.1 percentage points, according to the Decision Desk HQ polling average. Trump has a 0.7 percentage point advantage against Biden nationwide.
With a 4-percentage-point margin of error, the survey was conducted from March 20 to 31. The margin of error is five percentage points for questions about a two-way match-up.
