A violent altercation on the streets of Walnut Creek resulted in the arrest of a Suisun City man after a thorough investigation by local police. Malcolm Harris, 28, is now facing many charges following an incident that resulted in a head wound from a rifle’s buttstock. According to the Walnut Creek Police Department, the incident occurred on N. Main St. shortly after the witching hour on March 2.
The guy escaped before police arrived, leaving behind a scene that would connect him to his alleged crime following rigorous detective work by the Walnut Creek Police Department. Officers arrived at the noise, only to discover the victim unconscious and injured. Lt. Drew Olson of the Walnut Creek Police Department confirmed that Harris was detained in Las Vegas by the Vegas Metro Police Department and extradited to face charges in Contra Costa County.
These charges, according to official papers, include assault with a machine gun or assault weapon, felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of an assault weapon. With the gavel poised to swing, the consequences of Harris’ misdeeds could lead to a lengthy prison sentence, casting a dismal shadow over his future.
