What Incident Happened ‘Suddenly’! Hell’s Kitchen Bar Owner Reacts to Violent Video by Removing Security Staff
DEBARYLIFE – After footage of a man who appeared to be a client being beaten outside the Hush nightclub on W52nd Street surfaced, the owner of a homosexual bar in Hell’s Kitchen fired his security staff. Regarding the event, two males have been detained and are facing assault charges.
At least four black-clad men, some with “Security” T-shirts on them, are shown repeatedly beating and kicking a man until he falls to the ground in the video, which was first posted on Reddit. It was then observed that the beaten person was lying in the center of W52nd Street between 8th and 9th Avenue.
A man wearing a lengthy leather coat loudly expressed his displeasure, claiming that the person who had been beaten had bit his finger.
According to police, Chantis Parks, 39, complained that he had been struck several times, and they were called to the club at 348 W52nd Street at 1:15 a.m. on Sunday. Police arrived at the scene and found him with minor scrapes on both knees and swelling around his right eye. His medical evaluation was conducted at Mount Sinai West.
Vallan Menzies, 48, of the Bronx was then taken into custody by the police and accused of assault. Parks, a resident of Hell’s Kitchen on W52nd Street, was also detained and accused of assault following the filing of a cross-complaint.
“We are investigating precisely what took place and the cause of it,” bar owner Bob Fluet stated in a statement. We would never have anticipated it, of course. The security personnel are employed by an outside, independent security company. While the review is ongoing, they have been taken out of our venues.

According to the first reports, Fluet entered the premises just to confront the security guard, biting him in the face, which set off the incident. But that is not an excuse for what happened, and we maintain that de-escalation training be provided to all guards, which was lacking in this instance.
Fluet carries out Boxers in addition to Hush. “Our venues are open seven nights a week and do a fantastic job of providing safe spaces for our patrons,” he emphasized. The security officers handle a variety of problems every night, and they typically handle them effectively and without incident.

The video implies that the private security guards went well beyond their legal jurisdiction and should be held liable for the applicable civil and criminal consequences, even though I am not aware of the incident’s specifics. “I admire Hush management’s quick action to address this extremely troubling incident,” he continued.
The video depicted brutality as shocking, according to assembly member Tony Simone. It is unacceptable for any security service, no matter what a client has done, to act with such shocking cruelty.
