100-Year Prison Term Looms for Tampa Man in 4 Business Robbery Case, What Is Next!
TAMPA, FLA — According to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, a man found guilty in federal court on Tuesday of carrying out several armed robberies in Tampa faces a life sentence.
In 2020, Richard Allen Randolph, then 44 years old, robbed four shops in Tampa with a gun.
In July 2021, while conducting a traffic stop, Collier County deputies discovered that an additional person had a Beretta Pico handgun in their vehicle. Using forensics, it was discovered that Randolph had used the same handgun in the armed robberies.
When deputies discovered that the person had bought the gun from Randolph, they were able to apprehend him for the armed robberies.

Randolph may spend at least a century in federal prison. The date of his sentencing is July 30.
