Northeast DC Woman Faces Assault Charge After Wine Bottle Attack on Store Employee
Washington – Tuesday afternoon in Northeast D.C., a lady struck a store clerk with a wine bottle, wounding them. She has been taken into custody.
The struck employee declined to receive medical attention for their wounds.
Around 2:20 p.m., the employee was struck with the wine bottle following a dispute between the two inside the store on First Street Northeast, which is close to M Street Northeast, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
At the scene, the woman—identified as Northwest D.C. resident Beyonce Page, 22—was taken into custody.

The worker who was hit by the bottle had some minor wounds, but she declined medical attention.
According to DC Police, Page was accused of attacking someone with a potentially lethal weapon—a wine bottle.
