LIVE UPDATE: Barnsdall in Ruins, Tornado Leaves One Dead and Many Injured
Early on Tuesday morning, the Osage County Sheriff’s Office reported that a tornado and severe weather raced over the small town of Barnsdall, which is located around 40 miles north of Tulsa. The tornado and extreme weather caused at least one person to lose their life. The search and rescue teams spent the night in the small village hunting for people who were trapped inside the damaged homes hoping to find survivors.
Around 9:30 p.m., a massive and destructive tornado was spotted above Barnsdall, and it traveled over the area. This information was provided by the National Weather Service in Tulsa.

The course of the tornado has caused a great deal of damage between Bartlesville and Barnsdall. There are a great number of residences that have been damaged, and some of them have been entirely destroyed. Eddie Virden, the sheriff of Osage County, told KOKI, the local affiliate, that there has been one verified fatality and several injuries.
