DEBARYLIFE – Express Inc., the apparel company that declared bankruptcy earlier this week, is closing two locations in Wisconsin.

In a press release on Monday, the company—which owns the brands Express, Bonobos, and UpWest—announced that it would close 95 stores. Wisconsin stores in Baraboo and Madison were included in a filing made with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court.

Included in the file were two Wisconsin locations: the Outlets at the Dells, located at 210 N. Gasser Road in Baraboo, and the East Towne Mall, located at 89 East Towne Mall in Madison.

A less expensive branch of the company’s flagship stores, Express Factory Outlets is located in Baraboo, whereas Express is located in Madison.

WHP Global is the owner of several retail brands, such as Joseph Abboud, Lotto, Anne Klein, and Isaac Mizrahi.

Before this week’s closures, Express and Express Factory Outlet together accounted for 530 retail locations. The first Express store opened its doors in 1980.

The Express locations in Wisconsin will be located at the West Towne Mall in Madison, the Mayfair Mall in Wauwatosa, the Fox River Mall in Grand Chute, the Brookfield Center in Brookfield, and Bay Park Square in Ashwaubenon after the Madison outlet shuts.

Pleasant Prairie and Eau Claire are home to the company’s remaining Express Factory Outlet locations.
