Henderson Home Invasion Results in Injuries, Arrest Made in Suspect’s Capture
LAS VEGAS, Nevada (FOX5) – According to the Henderson Police Department, a suspect was taken into custody in relation to a residential invasion that occurred in the city over the weekend.
On April 13, the HPD said that they were called to the 1000 block of Robbers Roost Avenue in response to a report of a break-in. Officers learned en route to the scene that the suspect—later identified as 38-year-old Phillip Richardson—had broken into the house and assaulted two people, including the victim who had reported the crime.
As soon as the police arrived, they went inside the house, found Richardson, and arrested him. Due to injuries they allegedly suffered during the incident, the two victims were brought to a local hospital.
Richardson was charged with the following counts when he was brought into the Henderson Detention Center:
A single burglary count, One instance of home invasion, One robbery with a deadly weapon (DW) count, one battery count with DW resulting in significant damage to the battery, and one battery count with DW leading to significant damage to the battery (elderly enhancement). Two violations of the trespass.

It was described by the police as an “isolated incident” with no connection to any other incidents. On Tuesday, Richardson is scheduled to appear in Henderson Justice Court to be charged.
