Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office Remembers 17 Deputies Who Made the Ultimate Sacrifice

TAMPA, Florida – In all, 17 deputies have lost their lives while performing their duties in the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office’s existence.

A moving memorial service was held by the sheriff’s office on Thursday in remembrance of the departed heroes.

To celebrate the lives and service of the dead cops, HCSO employees and their loved ones gathered at the Dead Heroes Memorial, which is located outside the sheriff’s office.

A survey claims that these cities in Florida are the worst locations to drive in.
Sheriff Chad Chronister stated in a statement, “Let us also reaffirm our commitment to carrying on their legacy as we prepare to honor our fallen deputies.”

The honor, honesty, and bravery that they shown on a daily basis while performing their duties should be upheld.

The event featured a 21-Gun Salute, a flyer from the HCSO Aviation Unit, and a speech by former Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn.
