Teenager’s Death In Auburn Mobile Home Park Under ISP Investigation, What Currently Report Says
AUBURN, Ind. (WANE) – The cause of the adolescent’s stabbing death is being looked into by Indiana State Police. The teen’s body was discovered in an Auburn mobile home park on Thursday.
ISP reported that shortly before 2:00 p.m., Auburn police officers discovered Blake Boese, 17, on Irene Street in response to complaints of a stabbing.
According to a press release from Indiana State Police, lifesaving efforts were made on the scene by Auburn officers, the Auburn Fire Department, and EMS, but they were not successful.

The DeKalb County Coroner’s Office declared Boese dead at the scene.

ISP made an arrest announcement late on Thursday night. Coltin Drew Herzog, age 21, was brought to the DeKalb County Jail by detectives after being detained there for questioning.
There, he was charged with first-degree murder. ISP thought that there was only one occurrence involving the two males.
The prosecutor for DeKalb County requested that ISP look into the death. A Friday morning autopsy has been set by the DeKalb County Coroner’s Office.
The Indiana State Police are currently conducting a criminal investigation. As of right now, no more information can be disclosed.
