Hillsborough County Sheriff Hosts Two Drop-Off Sites for National Prescription Drug Takeback Day

Hillsborough County, Florida:  On April 27, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office will take part in the National Prescription Drug Takeback Day.

Residents will be encouraged by the event to properly dispose of unused prescriptions by dropping them off at specified sites.

To provide the community with convenient access, HCSO will arrange drop-off stations at two locations in Hillsborough County. Some of these places are:

– 119 Oakfield Drive, Brandon, FL is the address of Brandon Hospital.

– 8398 Sheldon Road, Tampa, FL is the address of Walgreens.

Sheriff Chad Chronister stated, “It is essential to dispose of prescription drugs properly to prevent misuse, abuse, and environmental harm.”
