Fatal Miami-Dade Shooting: One Killed, One Injured, 31 Bullet Casings Recovered
North Miami Beach, Florida, USA – A gunshot on Friday night left crime scenes outside a restaurant and a gas station in North Miami Beach. On Saturday, detectives in the county’s northern region were looking into a homicide.
31 shell casings were found by detectives at Northeast 159 Street and 18 Avenue, while ShotSpotter tech recorded 17 shots fired, according to the North Miami Beach Police Department.

Upon arrival at the Marathon Gas Station, located at 2201 NE 163 St., police discovered that a guy and a girl had sustained gunshot wounds to the neck.

The McDonald’s parking lot, located at 2201 NE 163 St., was also included in the crime scene. The trunk of a parked car had its tag hidden with a yellow sheet.
NMBPD reports that the female victim was later declared deceased by hospital staff.
