High-Stakes Chase: 5 Arrested After Shots Fired at Tampa Police

TAMPA, FLA — Five suspects were taken into custody by Tampa police on Monday night following gunfire from a car during a pursuit.

According to the Tampa Police Department, unmarked vehicles on North 43rd Street near East Hanna Avenue were witnessing reckless driving.

Shots were fired in the cops’ direction as they attempted a traffic stop.

The automobile ended up being briefly pursued by police near Nancy Street. Five of the individuals who fled the car were apprehended by the police. According to authorities, there were no injuries recorded, and the policemen did not shoot back.
