Miguel Zuniga, 19, Named as Victim in Fatal Crash Near Harrah’s Resort
DEBARYLIFE – A 19-year-old male who died in a car accident on a lonely country road close to Harrah’s Resort Southern California last week has been publicly recognized by the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office.
A southbound Ford Expedition struck Miguel Angel Zuniga’s Toyota Camry as it was turning left onto Valley Center Road from West Tribal Road just before 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Zuniga is from Valley Center.

The medical examiner’s office stated that Zuniga passed away at the scene of the collision.

The Expedition’s driver was taken into custody at the scene on suspicion of driving under the influence and was later checked into the Vista Detention Facility.
“He is charged with several offenses for this incident, including misdemeanor DUI with alcohol,” according to the CHP.
