Police Apprehend Three Suspects in Homerville Murder Inquiry, What Is The Real Cause!

HOMERVILLE: A Homerville homicide investigation has resulted in the arrest of several people.

Release: Shea Foster, 19, of Homerville, Georgia; Roma Cooper, 34, of Homerville, Georgia; and Lenard Perkins, 35, of Homerville, Georgia, have all been taken into custody by the GBI and charged with the murder of Raheem Poole.

On Monday, April 22, 2024, Foster—who was wanted for felony murder and aggravated assault—turned himself in to the Clinch County Sheriff’s Office.

The GBI detained Cooper on April 23, 2024, and charged him with making false statements and possessing a firearm by a felon with a conviction, and Perkins with tampering with evidence and possessing a firearm by a felon with a conviction.

The Homerville Police Department and the Clinch County Sheriff’s Office provided support in the making of these arrests.

ANNUAL RELEASE:

To the death of Homerville, Georgia resident Raheem Poole, 25, the GBI has detained and charged Phillip White, 33, with Aggravated Assault. Shea Foster, 19, of Homerville, Georgia, has also been placed under arrest warrant by agents for felony murder and aggravated assault. Foster isn’t under arrest.

After receiving a 911 report regarding a shooting on Happyville Lane and Old Fargo Road on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at approximately 11:50 a.m., the Homerville Police Department asked the GBI to look into Poole’s death.

Upon arrival, the officers discovered Poole had died from what appeared to be gunshot wounds. Following the inquiry, White-faced charges for attacking Foster before the shooting. He was later apprehended without any problems. Foster may be in Jacksonville, Florida, or Homerville, Georgia, as he is still at large.
