COLUMBUS, Miss. – The weekend stabbing is still under investigation by Columbus police.
On Sunday night, the event took place close to Brown Street’s 100 block.

Moore said that if the community wants crimes to be addressed promptly, then people need to speak up.

“Involving the public is beneficial. Participation from the public would speed up the investigation of crimes.
The task will still be completed, but it will be more difficult when incidents occur and people are reluctant to speak with the police.
