PORT ANNOUNCES THAT THERE WILL BE NO MORE LATE-NIGHT EVENTS.
SANFORD, FLORIDA – The next course of action following the shooting at Cabana Live over the weekend is currently being discussed by Seminole County politicians.
Dennis Lemma, the Seminole County Sheriff, said at a press conference on Monday that Cabana Live lacked the required event permission to host the so-called “Nobody Leaves Sober Pool Party.”

Lemma and Seminole County Commissioner Jay Zembower expressed uncertainty about whether the event permission would have prevented the shooting. Zembower asserted that the procedure is in place to guarantee that all necessary arrangements have been made to ensure everyone’s safety.
Zembower stated, “We can’t deploy the assets or have the assets on hold ready to deploy in the event something goes awry if we’re not aware of something occurring.”

Zembower stated that they are now considering the next course of action.
Zembower stated, “Our attorneys are closely examining it, and given what happened, I believe this matter rises to a higher level.” “You know, a minor brandishing a firearm when alcohol is being supplied. That, in my opinion, is what has to be addressed for the incident in the first place.
